Mashi Cohen is an Integrative Wellness Coach and Certified Yoga Instructor who works here at Hope Street. She is an invaluable member of our team. She helps our clients cultivate a nourishing and trusting relationship with their bodies and believes deeply that everyone deserves to feel at home in their own body. Her group therapy class, Mind.Body.Spirit., combines a clinical and holistic approach to wellness that helps everyone feel comfortable in their own skin and works to help individuals improve their self-confidence and self-love.
Mashi is a great team player, and full of positive energy that works to uplift all of those around her. Her background is in the medical field, where she worked in front-facing roles, has made her meticulous and capable, allowing her to thrive in client-facing roles and in detail-oriented jobs. Her pragmatism, along with her kindness, makes her an excellent addition to our team here at Hope Street.
With a background in Behavioral Science from Excelsior College and nursing pre-requisite courses from Ocean County College, Mashi has high aspirations to advance her career. Pursuing a Master’s in Spiritual and Depth Psychology and working within the health and wellness sector since 2018, Mashi is a committed and open-minded team member here to help our clients through her Mind.Body.Spirit. group.
Combining her background as a Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hour and Health and Wellness Coaching, together with her academic accomplishments, she has put together a group session that benefits all with a holistic approach deeply rooted in the concept of the mind-body connection.
Elevate your appreciation of your body and accept yourself while you foster a loving relationship between your mind, body, and spirit. This course takes place online through zoom video chat and works to help you improve your relationship with your body from a place of compassion, empowerment, and innate wisdom.
With Mind.Body.Spirit., you will understand wellness on all 8 levels, and learn how to achieve them in your everyday life. You will learn about the mind-body-spirit connection, and how to use it to find the necessary balance in your life to facilitate positive change by achieving optimal physical health, emotion regulation, and a connection to your spirit.
Each class will practice mindfulness exercises, goal setting, and group discussions. Mashi works to promote a safe space for discussion so that clients can talk freely about their struggles and share their triumphs together.
Instill confidence in yourself and achieve wellness in all aspects of your life with the careful guidance of a wellness coach and yoga instructor. You will learn the principles of mindfulness, how to meditate, set micro-goals successfully, and properly regulate your emotions. With Mashi, you will leave feeling hopeful that you can implement change and achieve your goals and enjoy a renewed and closer relationship with your mind, body, and spirit.
