Kate Hitt-Kaplan, Certified Life Coach
A lifetime Las Vegan, Kate retired after 22 years with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, 12 years as Executive Assistant and Public Liaison to Sheriff’s Ralph Lamb and John Moran. Her extensive experience includes working on political campaigns and 10 years of Hosting a popular Las Vegas Radio Show with a broad reach.
Kate is a Certified Life Coach with a focus on Art Therapy. Her background as an Artist and Teacher with over 40 years of experience and thousands of teaching hours serve to greatly enhance the space that Kate creates for her clients.
The Owner/Creator of Get MORE (a therapeutic art workshop for men and women in crisis), Kate dedicated Get MORE to raising funds and awareness for non-profits who Give MORE to women, children and families in crisis. Through therapeutic art, the clients Get MORE out of life for those they love, their communities, and themselves. Art has been proven to support long term recovery.
Kate also served on the Board of Directors and as Director of Community Relations for Vision Theatrical Foundation, a non-profit organization that performs “Toe Tag Monologues” in high schools and juvenile facilities throughout the country, building Character, Confidence, Courage, and Commitment in our youth as theatre inspires the senses.
Her work in recovery includes service for the Citizen’s Action Committee for West Care Nevada, a non-profit recovery program, serving Nevada for over 40 years.
