Dr. Timothy Jeider, MD
Dr. Timothy Jeider, MD is a double-boarded psychiatrist with specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Jeider has a bachelor of science degree in biology from Walla Walla University and a Medical Doctorate from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. He completed his General Psychiatry Residency at LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. From there, he relocated to Las Vegas, where he completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at UNLV. During his time at UNLV, he served as the Fellowship’s Chief Fellow. Dr. Jeider is a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the Nevada Psychiatric Association (NPA).
Since completing his training, he has been serving the Las Vegas community in a number of roles. His direct patient roles include caring for pediatric populations at residential treatment homes and overseeing the psychiatry at a partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program. Dr. Jeider also operates a psychiatric clinic where he provides psychiatry for children, adolescents and adults.
Dr. Jeider has a great deal of experience in the mental health field, practicing psychiatry in outpatient, residential and the partial hospitalization level of care. He has also worked in Juvenile Justice Services, the Foster Care system and Acute Inpatient Care. His volunteer hours are spent as a member of the Clark County Children’s Mental Health Consortium.
